Hello to everyone.

I had my first call from mindsmatter. the lady was very nice. she offered me various choices. counselling, group therapy, or CBT. she said there was low intensity and high intensity CBT. I asked what the difference was but didn't quite understand. she said she put me down for high intensity. however there is a wait

I would welcome any information about it and did it help or not. I am taking fluoxetine 20mg as well.

gentle hugs to everyone x

I have been going for CBT for about 3 months, my understanding is that high intensity is short sharp intervention, identify the problem th and they help with targeted coping techniques. I am doing longer term, getting to understand where my way of thinking had come from and trying out ways of coping. It will take longer but feels better for me , good luck X

thank you, I am glad it is working for you. I think longer and slower would be better for me. x
