I think I have SAD. Seasonal Affective Disorder. For the past two years Ive been so depressed during winter and I thought it was caused by school and stress but now that the weather is getting warmer even the sun coming out yesterday made me so happy and the happiness lasted all day into the night and I was so productive. It was mind blowing. Does anybody go through something similar/ should I see a doctor or therapist? What steps should I take to prevent how bad I feel when the weather is bad.

Thanks

I use a light box and take vitamin D3. Winters are rough. Glad you are feeling better these days!

I've heard this a lot from people who are from Seattle Washington. And people who are close to the north pole where they have a month of nights. It rains a lot and they have fairly long winters. I'm looking at a foot of snow all around my house today, and two more days of it coming. We are all snowed in for the next two days, and as long as the power doesn't go out like it did a few months ago, we went for a day and a half with no power, we are pretty comfy. But still......yuck.
