Chronic fatigue anyone? Constantly worrying about a major illness and what's causing what?

So I had been experiencing mainly anxiety for several years prior to this past summer. I was getting some tension headaches from what we believed came from my Lexapro around Memorial Day. At that point, my doctor and I decided to switch to Trintellix. While I was cross tapering, I decided I wanted to give no meds a try. Was it a bad idea to stop? Towards the end of the summer, I felt great from like July to September. But then I started going south again, but this time I felt more depressed than usual, as opposed to nervous and worrying, and crying all the time. It didnt hit me until November that I hadnt been on any meds. I started back on Lexapro but this time the side effects have been quite different. Is that possible? I feel exhausted all the time, can barely function on some days, and its a momumental effort to get out of bed.

Im also constantly worrying that I have some underlying condition thats causing this fatigue. My lab work shows nothing but low testosterone which Im beginning treatment for. Is that a factor in fatigue and can it effect my mood?

Is it the side effects causing the tiredness? The low T? Just the depression and anxiety in general? Is it seasonal? Whats causing what? Ugh my racing thoughts.

On top of all of that, I feel like I have a crappy support system. Most of my friends and family tell me to shake it off more or less, like its flipping a switch. I hope I can find some love and answers here.

Thank you, all!

Maybe have your doctor adjust your dosage. And yes, I would think hormone swings would make you physically tired. If your lab work shows nothing else wrong with you, and your blood is not anaemic, then you can only wait till your T is balanced and your meds are the right dosage. Talk to other people other than your current friends and family about your concerns, others that are going through similar things so they can relate.

Low testosterone can have HUGE psychological effects. One of the big effects for many is irritability. It also can cause weakness, depression, lethargy ect.

Exercise can help, as can beginning to get away from hormonally processed foods, but good luck with that. The Top of industry is pretty jacked up. So is big pharma, to be truthful, but yeah, the food is a biggie because everyone eats, and pretry regular. The less money you makes, and the less expensive the foods you eat, the more susceptible you are to consuming foods that are full of growth hormones, genetically modified organisms (gmo's) and chemicals that have long been regarded as unsafe until chemical companies got the "right people" heading up the US Food and Drug Administration, at which point the overwhelming evidence of the dangers posed by these chemicals, well, sort of went by the way-side.

I definately suggest working very closely with your doctor's, and making small changes slowly so you actually have time to find out if something works, how well it works, and how long it takes your psyche to sort of "reprogram itself." Good cognitive therapy also helps to get the best results, as well as more closely monitor changes.

God bless, and good luck!
