Scared and depressed

I tried a new antidepressant and I had a horrible two days. Has anyone experperienced this? Should I go back to my regular one. ? I'm so depressed all I do is cry. We just moved and got into a car accident. While we were moving.sigh. help.

Maybe you should make a call

to the doctor and ask them.... They might tell you that its going to take some time to level out after a change but I'm no professional but I have been on quite a few depression meds and it sounds like you're dosage needs to be changed or the medicine is not working for you.

I never liked the way meds made me feel. However, I like to remind myself that my feelings are only temporary. Sometimes it works. Depression can be so crippling and you should feel like a champion knowing you’re still undefeated. This too shall pass.

Anytime we try new medication my doctor told me it's going to get worse before it gets better, that is if it works sometimes it's not the right medication very frustrating and it can only make what you feel worse, I wish we didn't to wait 4-6 weeks to find out if it's the right medication....sigh
