Hi. I'm new. I'm just trying to find some more support. Trying the online support group. Hoping to meet a couple people.

Hello, welcome! What are you suffering with?

Borderline personality disorder, major depressive disorder, anxiety. ADD, and PTSD.

Hello I’m new as well and hope to meet people and try find out some better ways to cope in this crazy world, or to help others if I can, I’ve never done this but I’m beginning to feel as if giving encouragement to others has already gave me a good feeling about this online thing. I don’t know your problems but I have found listening to music more lately has helped a lot with anxiety and focus and just to take your thoughts somewhere else as if to give your brain a break.

Hi, I feel similar with encouraging others and how it helps me feel good. I love music! Sometimes I just don't know what to listen to so I find super depressing stuff. I guess it's just sort of a habit. I try coloring, drawing, puzzles, word puzzles, reading, talking, games on my tablet, talk with friends, watching funny happy movies. My doctor feels my nightmares are partly because of my anxiety. So I'm trying to figure some stuff out for that.

I have Apple Music on my phone and it has some cool playlists like feel good music or country caffeine , etc. I have nightmares too not as often as use to but crazy weird dreams too, I’m forcing myself to go and do and interact so I’ll be around people more, but it’s tough. so I’m right there with ya in trying to figure it out, this next week will tell a lot because I have a lot to do. I will definitely let you know more of what helps. I think the cold dreary weather doesn’t help me at all how bout you?

I have spotify and it has similar things like feel good or get active and stuff, I've never tried that so I might have to do that. I try and go out to do things, but I just moved so j don't really know many people my age. Which is my fault cuz I don't do anything. I hope this week goes well for you! You'll have to let me know how it goes for sure! The weather definitely plays a role in how I feel! Well sometimes it does. Other times it can be a nice sunny warm day and it still hurts to get out of bed.

Cool, music is made of the things we are going through I use to find playing my guitar and singing after a rough day by myself gave me a release of stress. my dad and his family played music forever btw, so I kinda taught myself to play some and humm a tune a little, so I’m gonna try and get another guitar this next week or so. Thanks by the way I hope this week goes better for you to, I started a to do list app this morning too so maybe I’ll remember and get more done. My good friend tells me the key to success is organization, and if you fail to prepare you prepare to fail. He’s my only close tell me like it is and wants to help me friend. His wife to, she gave me a book I’m gonna send you the info on so you can check it out, it’s about our brain and how it works and how to help with our problems

Huh, that's cool. I've never heard music put that way before. That's so awesome that you taught yourself how to play guitar! I've tried lists before and they just don't seem to work for me, but I know they help a lot of others! I should probably work on my organization and being prepared. That's good advice from your friend. Wow the book sounds so cool!!! I would love the information for the book! I love reading about stuff like that! Thanks!!

Yeah, I’ve learned to write down or take notes when I hear certain songs that move me, I’m gonna do it more now that I’m telling you, but it’s like the feeling of a happy ending of a movie or story, when you really feel inspired, those songs that make you feel happy, energetic or even a little sad, I find that just feeling, you know really feeling helps get those juices flowing we need, also I’m gonna take a bicycle with me cause I travel a lot working, and get up and take a ride every morning if I can, exercise they say gets the endorphins flowing and I’ve found it does work, my problem is sticking to a schedule or routine every day, I may work all day and night then sleep for a day, cause it’s so hard to get motivated until it’s almost too late. Then I work til I drop. At least I can work my own hours or I’d be fired probably, lol, I’ll send you info on book ASAP, I don’t read books much nor ever did or really liked to, I do love to learn but big thick books were never a turn on for me but I’m gonna read this one😊. How are you today? I slept late but got up and watched movies at parents house now watching Olympic la for a minute. It’s really cold where I live! Too cold

Hi I was seeing how things are going for you, I haven’t been on here in a while but have been struggling and am thinking I have to take some steps to get better.
