Mood Swings

Does anyone here experience mood swing. Mine have been horrible. One minute I’m ok, the next I’m depressed. Any help would be appreciated.

I believe anxiety can cause mood swings but not too extreme. Have you confided with your therapist or pyschiatrist?

Thank you. I have a meeting with my psychiatrist on Saturday. I will talk with him about these mood swings. This is the worst I have experienced.

Oh yes. You described me! My moods and thoughts switch on and off from positive to negative real quick. I feel crazy to be honest. *sigh*😕

Hi. Thank you so much for your reply. I’m not alone.

Your welcome. I do care. And NO you are NOT alone. We all gotta stick together and fight against the stigma of mental illness to raise awareness to show people depression is so much more than feeling sad💚

I too suffer from horrible mood swings. I’m not sure if the main cause is my depression or anxiety. Could be both. I know my anxiety usually presents itself as angry outbursts. And then my depression takes over and I cry uncontrollably. I hope you figure out something to help control them! I know how exhausting it is dealing with them

Yeah, it is very tiring. I have a appointment with my psychiatrist on Saturday so I can hopefully address this. Thank you for your reply. It makes me feel not alone.

yeah. i have that, too. one minute im too jumpy, then the next moment im breaking down over memories i had 3-4years ago. i even feel weird that i have to talk to myself just to pull myself back from sinking into my own quicksand but the downside is that people think im being crazy for talking to myself. x)

im not clinically diagnosed tho. therapies x sessions.... got no money + time for it.

Thank you for your response. I also think about past memories which I can get depressed over.

HELL yea,. I had a melt down this past Saturday. I was pressured into going to a birthday party I didn't want to go too

I made it clear it was not going to be pretty? And it wasn't, I didn't make a scene...just let people I didn't want to be there, wasn't feeling good. Had a good day yesterday spent most of the day with a long time friend,. She listen to,?which was what I needed.
