Is this a common, 'normal' thing to experience with anxiety? I have been very, very tired, sleeping at least 10 hours a night, waking up tired, wanting to sleep all day, and experiencing light headedness off and on if I'm not laying down. This has been going on for about 4 days. I find that if I get very dizzy, I have a major panic attack about an hour later.
I'm only 8 days into my medication, could it be side effects from them? I'm on citalopram for the anxiety and my fibomyalgia, and ketorolac three times a day for the pain from costocronditis from my fibromyalgia.
I dont get to see my doctor for another 9 days. I hope this passes by then.

There are lots of side effects which not everyone will get. Ive had an increase in anxiety. They should go once the meds have settled. Can you speak to your doctor before your appointment.
Hi Didda, I agree with Simonn in that you should try to speak with your doctor before the appointment. Sometimes when 2 medications are taken, they can interact in making you more tired and even lightheaded. Why worry? Have your doctor decide if he wants you to change anything or continue the way you were prescribed. Good Luck and feel better. xx
Yes probably a combo. of illness and the meds. Go on line and look up the med's it will give you side affects. I'm surprised the pharmacy did not give you a print out with the drugs. I always read those end to end twice with yellow marker in my hand I do not trust what I am told, only what I get in black and white and then with??? As the other lady's suggested all your Dr. Office, I would ask him face to face myself. Sounds like you are suffering quite a bit for which I am sorry. I wish you well and hope you get some decent relief. We are here to support you, so please let us know how you make out. Sending get well wishes, strength, energy, love and Hugs. Sprinkle 1
I think it the side effects of the medication , because I experience that side effect
That's happened to me .. and my doctor told me that the first 4 days of taken medication u would feel sleepy and tired all the time so I wasn't worried about that neither you should be worried
I have sheets upon sheets from the pharmacy, but I'm too stupidly exhausted to make sense of them lol. I went and talked to the pharmacist, he said it could be a side effect of the citalopram, but it could also be the anxiety, and not to worry unless I actually faint from it, which he was almost certain that I would not.
There really isnt a way to get to see my dr until my appointment, I am in a small town with a disastrous shortage of doctors, so they are booked solid for months on end.
I'm feeling a little better today, so that's a good thing!
