I'm just so scared...

I don't know whether I have anxiety or not, for all I know maybe it's just my imagination. However, I feel absolutely terrible. When I try to get to sleep, I feel dizzy and start shaking with fear. There are times when I feel like there a lump in my throat and my hands start shaking. Sometimes I get so worried I feel like throwing up, and my eyes feel very heavy. When in a big crowd, I can't speak properly, I stutter and go quiet. Maybe it's just my imagination trying to get attention, but I can't tell if there's something wrong with me. I'm just so scared...

It sounds like anxiety to me. About a month ago I thought I was losing my mind. I wasn't sleeping, couldn't focus on anything, racing thoughts, just felt so out of touch. I finally went to my family Dr. who diagnosed me with Generalized Anxiety Disorder.

I know that feeling. Just being "scared". Of what, I can't rationalize. That's how I describe it to my doctor. It's definitely the anxiety monster. Please talk to a doctor. There must be light at the end of the tunnel. Peace to you, my friend.

Definitely. I feel afraid for no particular reason everyday. I'll try my best to speak to a doctor. The light feels very far away, but i'm sure I'll find it eventually. Peace to you too <3

Definitely sounds like anxiety to me. I have experienced some of the same things and am diagnosed with Anxiety. Talk to you doctor asap. Don't let it linger. And its not your imagination, its real. Best of luck to you!

Go see a CBT therapist immediately, the sooner you identify and name the anxiety the quicker it WILL go away. Find a therapist who does CBT , and you'll be fine. Most anxiety starts from a tired/overactive mind , breathing slowly and trying to slow down helps tremendously. Anxiety tends to run in circles , you get more anxious just from feeling bad, if you can accept it's just anxiety and accept that it can t really hurt you ,the faster it will go away. But please take it from someone who has has it for over a decade , the quicker you address it the better ! I waited too long in the beginning and didn't want to accept I had an anxiety disorder , the sooner you acknoedge it the faster it goes away!

definetly anxiety I still avoid people and crowds and I am on meds still clamming up and struggling to talk feeling as if choking and unable to relax the conundrum is feeling lonely and liking your own company what to do, so you are not alone by any means there are lots of people who suffer the same the thing is you will never meet them in the street haha

anxiousghost, It's definitely not your imagination in trying to get attention. Those fears to you are real in feeling them physical. The difference being that it is not a physical issue but a mental one. The lies that your mind feeds to you portray themselves physical. Being afraid of everything for no reason. Fear of Fear just grows unless it is stopped through counseling, medication and reverse negative thinking.

I hope you will be seeing a therapist soon who will help you sort out where these deep seated fears are coming from. Once you start chipping away at those fears, the anxiety symptoms will start reducing in strength until they completely vanish. good luck, stay positive xx
