Does anybody know any counsellors
Question : Does anybody know any... - Anxiety and Depre...
Question
For what and where?
Hi Billy-124,
It's great you have posted here.
The question is too general for a useful answer. Counsellors have particular interests in conditions they treat, differences in qualifications and out of pocket expenses matter too.
Your primary care giver /doctor / GP is often a good starting point - can provide you with a list of local mental health professionals and a referral if that's what you prefer and get you an appointment.
An option is searching with Dr Google - input the area you live in and mental health to come up with some answers. The next step is search for health professional interested in the condition you want help with. The next step is to phone around for an appointment
Making these calls to book yourself in can be very scary and anxiety provoking. Personally I have found the first option the best
Hello, I do not know where you live, I live in an area of approx 7000 and when I went on line and looked for help under therapists I found several. Also try the Yellow Pages, I found quite a few listed there. Go for it, there is help out there. I send Peace and Success. Sprinkle 1
