Hello, could use a bit more info about your situation. The one thing yu did write is that you are a drug addict and you are stopping taking drugs, and the anxiety is great.

Get help now from a detox center or a doctor.

Stopping drugs of any kind can cause serious effects, I know that....I had two gran mal seizures one year ago by not taking my just one of my Rx med for just two days by accident. Fell, hitting my head on a dresser and fractured a vertebra when I hit the wood floor. Three days in the hospital and a surgery.

Call the local NA crisis line for help, or the 911 n the US and explain what you've done.

Or get to an ER, if yu can't reach your doctor or go to a detox center.

The anxiety is not going to get better if you're not alive to work on that.

I'm getting off now, so you can make a call for help. Don't waste time.

thisrobyn, I'm hoping you're feeling okay now. I'm curious of you were serious with saying "she," drloonbird!

I know I went into a lot of detail on my first message. I'll just say these three things...

-thisrobyn, I have a natural method that you could try that works like a "vector," for many types of addictions, if you're interested. Just reply and let me know within a week.

-thisrobyn, drloonbird, and anyone else reading this, you would receive a light to your soul if you go forward with the "flip" in the Bible suggestion in that first message! This "flip" thing is a joyful, graceful fact.

-Glory to Jesus forever and ever. Come on thisrobyn get better!

I'm really sorry that I didn't respond quickly either. It appears on your page that your replied to everyone at the same time recently. Sometimes late's great! That's real cool great job. I don't think you need a particular strategy right now; I think if you put effort just toward more calm and joy to your life, you'll be good. Do some good breathing, care for some pets, and try yoga! You are a child of God. He's real glad that you've shown such great desire with this change. I know that prayer will be sufficient; you could try to pray out loud or in your head.

Here are some other things for you too though

Hi, I hope you're doing alright. What PTSDforyears advised is great and you need to go forward with some of that; and that's sad what occurred with her a year ago. Here is my counsel. Prayer, good breathing, the Holy Bible, rest and drinking good water. Prayer is necessary- God loves you and He could easily turn the anxiety issue around in less than a second. God is Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Comforter this is the Truth; remember though that He will only respond how He decides to and when. Now, good breathing is necessary too and causes great life and goodness and wonders. Feel at ease and meditate and have a little music on too. Try Native American calming music, top Kenny G. songs, some classical music, slow Mariah Carey songs, or others.

ps- if you flip to any page in the Bible and read, God will speak to you.

I agree about getting proper detox. It is vital. And I have suffered from panic disorder for 40 years. Are you on any meds from a psychiatrist and do you have a therapist? I used to be a drug addict and after several rehabs, I finally got off my drug of choice in a fancy rehab place in Tennessee for five months. It took that long. I still sometimes abuse my medications but not my drug of choice anymore. It's a lifelong battle. As for God, well, I know she could solve this in a blink of an eye but she's not blinking for me! I managed to get a PhD in counseling if you can believe that, so you can still achieve things in life despite mental illness and drug battles. GET to DETOX or go to an ER--I agree about that one! I'll be thinking of you and wishing you good luck with your struggle. People just don't understand the horror of true anxiety and panic unless they have suffered it as well.
