I'm a 35 single mother of an 11 year old boy. 2 years ago I lost my best friend suddenly to a brain hemorrhage. Ever since then I have horrible uncontrollably health anxiety. I've had tons of test and they find nothing wrong. I wake up in the middle of the night crying for no reason.
Please help

I suggest you please go visit a psychiatrist who will listen to you and get you the best treatment and therapeutic care required to overcome your anxiety issues.
I am not a fan of that kind of therapy myself. Reason being, I don't think another can make anyone who is not ready and willing to change. You have to want change -- you have to want to heal and you have to be ready to face your demons on your own.
Self-therapy on the other hand forces you to confront all the inner demons, issues that continue to hold you back, and make a decision as to whether you will let the pain continue or destroy the problem so you can move on.
Part of the problem is your focus on yourself - though we are naturally set up like this, many will tell you is doesn't work very well - is there any way you can practice be more outward looking?
