Often when im faced with making big life choices my hands clam up and my depression starts to act up. I didn't graduate and now im working to get my GED but life is moving too slowly for me, often i find myself doubting my abilities rather than working towards my goals. I know this is normal but Im getting tired of being this way.

Sounds like you're shooting yourself in the foot. Why would you sabotage yourself like this? Because if you don't try, you won't fail. Would you be a perfectionist ? Just a wild guess. It seems like those big decisions have you running scared. Break them down into more manageable parts and you will be more successful. Pam
Big life decisions can be scary. I'm a list maker, writer, and researcher. Whenever I have a big decision to make, I write a pros and cons list. This might sound silly, but sometimes I will write letters to myself, explaining why I chose to to make the decision and why I didn't. I also explain the possible regrets I may be faced with later. I try to research whatever I can related to whatever decision I'm trying to make.
Good for you - you now have a GED. I hope that you celebrate that.
