At least I'm not alone

About 3 months ago I developed an irrational fear of leaving my apartment. I have to dose up on Valium just to go to my doctors. And I can't drive anymore, which is something I have always loved. Anybody relate?

I don't have that same issue but something similar. I am able to leave my place but often if I go somewhere especially where I might see people I know I get panicked. Valium is one of the few things I have found that can combat these feelings. Have you seen a therapist?

Once upon a time ago when my anxiety first started, I was agoraphobic for about 6-8 months. I had like a 3-5 mile radius from my parents house that I could go too. Anything further than that and BAM almost instant panic attack. I can relate all too well, however back then I wasn't even taking any medicine to combat those feelings.
