Celexa for 4 weeks

I'm going on week 4 of celexa...I'M TIRED ALL THE TIME!!! I'm also hypothyroid and haven't been on those meds. Since my Dr moved away. Yesterday I could slept all day long. I'm just exhausted all the time. Has celexa effected anyone like this???

Hi AshleyG88. I'm sorry to hear that you have been so tired. :( I have taken Celexa before, however it did not have the same effect on me. I do know that drowsiness and feeling tired is a main side effect of Celexa. Have you talked to your Dr.? He may be able to change your meds to something that doesn't cause you to be so exhausted. Whatever the case, I definitely think you should talk to your Dr. Wish you the best of luck. Love and Light~

I take citalopram which is like the same thing, what is your dosage, it may be too high, or maybe because of the thyroid Med mixed with it giving you that feeling. Ask your doctor
