You can ask all of your present doctors who they recommend and ask your friends and family to ask their doctors for you. Most Drs. keep a list of specialists they recommend to their patients. You're looking for repeats in the recommendations. Sometimes a Dr. will recommend a new Dr. just to help out a friend's son or daughter who's just opening a new practice. I got a crummy Dr. with a bad attitude that way. I wouldn't have gotten his name more than once if I'd asked a bunch of doctors. You can look at online reviews. Just be aware that someone with a bad attitude is more likely to post a nasty review than a happy patient.

Suesz I know we haven't talked in a few days but I need advice. The doctor changed my medication to trintellix and my anxiety is worse. What should I do?

Are you taking your klonopin regularly? Like 1 mg every 8 hours? If so, then it's time to call your Dr. and tell him/her just what you said here...the Trintellix is allowing too much anxiety in you. If you haven't kept on top of your anxiety then take a few days on the 1 mg klonopin every 8 hours and if you still have too much anxiety THEN you can call the Dr. and report it. Even better would be, if your Dr. allows it, 1 mg klonopin every 6 hours. I don't know what your Dr. has okayed. Another option is 1.5 mg at 8 am, and 4 pm and 1 mg at 11 or 12 pm IF you have another drug that helps you sleep. Otherwise you need 1.5 mg at bedtime and only 1 mg at the 8 am or 4 pm. I think you can get the idea and can modify these scheduling ideas to suit your life.

Did you read my apology in private messages?

No I'll see if I can find it. You had nothing to apologize for.

Not what you're looking for?
