One consolidated, easy to follow modality

During my 28 years in the military I commanded several different units and the best way I was able to make the unit achieve outstanding levels of performance was to find a few of the most talented and motivated soldiers or cadets and assign them a task to put into place a plan that would use my general guidance and key goals. They would develop a tentative plan and I would refine it before implementation. It didn't always work but most of the time this technique worked exceedingly well for our unit.

I did this because although I have a ton of ideas and latent knowledge, I often struggle to widdle it down into a coherent plan. Some are much better at that than I. Thus, giving the knowledge and guidance to someone else, made a great plan possibly, that otherwise would have never been done at all.

I write this because I would like to see if there is anyone on this site that can encapsulate a plan/treatment modality to augment the usual standard of care treatments such as Lupron, Zytiga, Xtandi, provenge, chemo etc.

There might already be such a post on this site. If so, then please post the link and I and others will go to it. Since the site has new people entering every week, we may not know about past posts.

I humbly ask for something that is easy to understand and be specific so that people can go to an online website or supplement store and just buy the item somewhere within small to moderate/optimal dosage levels. I REALLY APPRECIATE some of the augmentation/naturopathic recommendation previously posted on the site but I and some others either don't have the time or the intellectual capacity to figure out some of the medical/technical terms or what items to consume in order to meet those recommendations.

I realize that ever cancer is different and everyone's cancer progression levels are different but maybe there are some items that seem to help just about every stage of progression or maybe some are only useful in early stages such as while Lupron is still effectively suppressing the PSA. If so, those statements could be specifically stated in the recommended modality/plan.

From what I have been able to discern here are a few things that help almost all cancer patients:

- Moderate exercise

- Eating foods that have been shown in studies to result in slowed PCx progression

- Meditation, deep breathing, yoga, positive thoughts (maybe slow PCx but at least improve mood and happiness)

What I'm unclear on, are the items like Casodex, Avodart, Proscar, DIM, Boron, BIRM etc. that do have some success shown by NIH studies etc.

I'm also taking other supplements that either help my coronary artery disease or potentially my cancer (anti-oxidants, some vitamins, and immune boosters such as mushroom powder and Korean ginseng.

I do exercise often and eat healthy foods such as oatmeal, certain nuts, some fruits and several veggies and greens etc.

The purpose of this simple modality plan is to help people who come to the site and don't want to spend time reading hundreds of articles and posts. If I spend too much time on this site, I find that I don't get to the gym, yoga, sauna, cruise ship etc etc. I just want to put on piece of paper on my fridge and follow it everyday. Again, I realize that a lot of the stuff on this site is opinion but a disclaimer could be added at the top of the post.

There’s a search box in the upper right.

For example, here’s a search for “exercise”. healthunlocked.com/search/e...

thanks Darrryl. That would only answer questions about one topic. Im trying to get a list that would consolidate the best ideas into one or two pages that include exercise, meditation, food, supplements, medications etc.

Love your ideas! I think it could work like a flow chart but I am not skilled in that area either.

thanks for the replies. My request was a failure. Nobody wanted to step up to this request. What it tells me is that because everyone's situation with their cancer, there isn't one modality that can be applied. If I get the time, I will try to put something together so that the average cancer victim can post it on their fridge and follow it with ease. Some of the holistic lists on this site are overly complex in medical terms and does not translate to anyone who isn't a doctor, or self trained on all the medical terminology or how to achieve the recommendations because they don't list the products or supplements needed to achieve those medical results.
