Sad to report, my friend, fellow warrior Mark Lanctot, known on this forum as Ramp7 has been taken by this horrible disease.
I became close to Mark over the past few years, meeting him on this forum. We spoke on the phone and shared emails and texts regularly. Just a year ago we met for lunch in Orlando. He was always happy, funny, very optimistic and just a very good man.
He had told me in his last email in late January that he wasn't doing well and had started docetaxel. That was the last I heard from him. Trying again to contact him today I found his cellphone number to be disconnected . So in great angst I googled his name and was hit hard with a shock. He passed on February 12th.
Randy, maybe you could add his name to the memorial?
2015 PSA 2.0 since this date PSA slowly rising double time 14months
2018 PSA 7.0
2019 PSA 17.0 Pet Scan scheduled 11/13/2019
2019 Lupron and Zytiga, PSA remained low for a year, now rising.
2021 Accepted into Dana Farber LuPSMA177 Trial Study, (Stopped Zytiga, Continued with Lupron)Completed 6 infusions, PSA 8.1 to 0.5. And now rising.
2023 PSA 3.64, Initiated BAT protocol after meeting with Dr. Denmeade at Johns Hopkins. This is self administered. Testosterone Propionate. I would share my schedule with anyone interested. I am consulting with four different MO's while conducting the protocol. They are monitoring my progress but have not endorsed my decision. After the first cycle PSA tests: 3.64, 3.10, 2.36. From High T to Low T=7. As of Feb. 23, 2023 I shall be starting my second cycle.
I am so sorry for your loss l truly know how it feels this horrible disease took my husband one week ago. Your friend Mark was so blessed to have you in his life hold onto the memories l am told they will ease the pain.......

So sorry to hear that, I'm going to a funeral today in NYC my nephew passed Monday from thymus cancer he was 20. If you have the means go to Africa, Cuba Australasian even China, chemo and or radiation had a 97% kill rate on average unless your diet and access to top mineral enzyme and vitamins very early on. That's what it does it kills all cells and the key is can you regenerate enough good cells to negate the mutated ones. It's harsh in caring and will Destroy you, fast or slow, and very few recover. The reality Is our food and waterHave long been poisoned, tainted whatever u wanna call it, then they give u these drugs that are based in petroleum, deny us the natural meds and destroy the land so we almost can't get what's needed for cures of med issues THEY cause. What a world hungh. Again condolences for our Guy.
