Another glorious autumn walk, very quick one, as I already ran this morning and wanted to get back quickly to watch my hubby practicing his newly made Flow Rope in the courtyard. Yes!!! He couldn’t wait, the scoundrel!
But I was firm with myself and went for that 15 min walk. Did quite a few silly walks, where I focus on different muscles, and cycle through a variety of walks: backward, sideways, scissoring, rhythmic with bent legs, straight leg soldier, one with focussing on stretching back, dribblingly walk, and so on. Whatever I could think of.
I’m lucky as the route is pretty empty most of the time.
It’s my C25k route, which becomes muddy in its second half of the route. But for 15 min walks it’s perfect. And it allows me to experience this route in the colder half of the year, where my running has switched to a drier route.
So here’s to beautiful, autumnal, silly walks!
