I’m getting into the rhythm of lunchtime walks! Just got back from another little 22 min walk.
I was supposed to do also a run this morning, but yesterday my soles slipped on our stairs, landing in an awkward deep squat 6-7 steps further down. Lucky nothing else happened, but when I started rowing a couple of hours later, I could feel a sharp pain in my ankles when fully compressed.
So I thought I’d just take it easy with refraining from rowing and running, just in case the ankle tendons are a bit strained.
The walk just now, wearing supportive boots, though felt great with no twinges or niggles.
So I’m sure I’ll be back to rowing in a couple of days, and then also back to running. I’m sure my mobility exercises saved me from more serious injuries.
And of course now, at least I have my walking, Yey!
