I needed some antibiotics for a week

Maybe go see the doctor

If not just go steady

It wasn’t that bad that I couldn’t walk every day

Walking is good, I'm trying to make it a habit before my eye op so I carry on, by the time I can run again hopefully it'll be just a memory 😀 then I can start to build running into my days again.

same to you 😀👍😘

I thought my coughing nights were over but I had another session last night 😏. I feel better however so the only way is up ⬆️

I’m back out there and hope you will be running again soon. Walking is a great start 👍🙂🏃‍♀️

I actually feel like I could run a bit today but going to stick with walking at moment, my daughter has stopped coughing and it's 5 weeks for her so there's hope yet 😀

it’s not fair is it! Hmmmmmfffff! I huff and puff that it surely can’t happen with all the accumulated lung power we must have built up, only to succumb to hacking coughs, Bah ☹️

😁

Not fair at all but better than it was x

Good! Keep drinking loads of water! I’ve been gargling and using mouthwash plus chewing on Xylitol gum. Oh, and eating salty crisps 😀

Ssshhh don't mention food, I'm food obsessed at the moment and fasting til 4pm......got an hour to go but did make a hot marmite drink after my walk, we will soon be completely well and better weather is coming.

Happy new year Sue.. Hope you will feel fully better in time for a successful eye surgery, and enjoy a bit of a rest afterwards..☺️

Happy New Year to you too Sue, thank you, I'm so much better than I was, I'm beginning to suspect laziness 🤣

PeggySusi profile image
PeggySusi in reply toSueAppleRun

Laziness! I don’t think so, going by your other post that I read today. I can say that you shamed me into getting off my bum today for a brisk walk/paddle on the cinder track with the dog. You’ve made me think I’m going to join you and try to make sure I walk every single day this year.. no excuses.. obviously having a dog does help with that.

Well we did 20 minutes on static bike in gym, had a little swim then sat in the steam room until we were too hit, then came home and had vegan lemon chicken with rice. I seem to have at least found a bit of energy 😁 I wish I had a dog, I go out with my daughter's dog and love him loads but it's not like having my own.

Good luck getting out for a walk, it's horrible weather at the moment but it'll eventually get better.

Well done Sue. I too have been thwarted over the past couple of weeks by a rotten cold which has now resulted in many of my long Covid symptoms returning with a vengeance 🤔

Also, like you, I am just plodding along as best I can with some gentle walks, but no runs for over a fortnight now.

Keep on, keeping on. Be kind and gentle with yourself, and we will be back in the famous words of the Terminator 😀👍💪
