2nd Recovery Walk-Run-Walk and Olympic challenge no 6

I’m still recuperating from my strange tummy-Covid bug last week but slowly getting there.

Today, second recovery run to see where I am with my fitness:

5 min warmup walk and dynamic calf stretches

4 min run

1 min walk

4 min run

(1 min walk / 1 min run) x 5

4 min run

1 min walk

4 min run

5 min cool-down walk and stretches

So I feel I’m getting there, and my walking also feels strong. (You might remember that I’m the odd person out that finds walking more challenging on my calves than running, so getting stronger in my walks is a big plus!)

I think this can count towards The Olympics challenge no 6: (see here for our Olympic August challenge healthunlocked.com/active10... )

6. **Marathon**: Have you or are you still building your walking distance progressively, improving your endurance and stamina?

I’m building up progressively, improving endurance and stamina, even if not at Marathon distance. Not quite. 🤣🤣

Happy walking, everyone!

P.s. Also tried a new connecting route through fields! Always nice when that happens.

🍏🙌Delighted to hear that and pleased to share that I am managing 4, 000 steps each day now … not always comfortably but I am keeping on keeping on!
