It is one of my favourite walks. Battersea Park. It was a little wet but with the proper gear on nothing we couldn’t handle. I was a bit quieter around the park than Usual but we still got to see lots of dogs enjoying their walk
Hope you all managed to get some good walks in over Easter
Take care Rfc x.

I'm doing pretty good thank you. I feel I've turned a corner this week. My treatment is all finished, had my last radiotherapy last week. The biggest side effect of it all is fatigue, I get really tired and run out of energy, but I'm usually ok in the mornings so I'm running again, mostly Galloway runs. I'm hoping to do parkrun with Madge this weekend. Then off back to France.
Glad you treatment is over and I hope that recovery goes fast for you. I have been struggling a bit as my thyroid meds were out but an increase of dose has helped. I found this new way of running called Niko Niko slow jogging and it is great when you are feeling fatigued, I find it less stressful on the body than Galloway. Here is a link, I am reading his book at the moment as well, which is really good.
I had somehow missed news of your poodle 'fun' before. Doesn't seem to have dented your true self too much which is rather splendid. Sounds as though you have become very adept at working with and around the effects.
I think it is going to be the next big thing 😀. I like to get in before the act and see the true aspects of things, the media do tend to distort exercise facts a bit. I got the book from Amazon kindle. But there is t much more than what they advise In The video and it is quite easy to put into action. The main Thing is you have to keep yourself In Check as it is easy to revert back but you can feel the difference.
I haven't been to Battersea Park since I was young (quite a while now) there used to be a permanent funfair there. I might jump on the train and take a walk around the park this week with my husband, weather permitting. 👍🏼
No fun fair but it has fountains, children’s play area, cafes, tea huts and a beautiful Chinese Pergoda and a lovely atmosphere. Enjoy your walk if you get to go.
