#Walk1000Miles Challenge: How’s everyone doing?

Well!!!

My app tells me that I’m in the final phase of the 1000-mile challenge, and if considering the 1000 miles to be between Lands End and John O’Groats, then I seem to be joggling alongside the Cromarty Firth! Or at least my distance marker is, and considering the heat, I wish my real self would be as well!

Just imagine the cool water of the Scottish highlands flowing into the firth….. and jumping in during this hot spell and cooling off after a hot run with a cool swim. Aaaaahhhh …..

Ok…. I’m getting carried away, there.

Well, I think I’m ca 90% of the way, but of course only by counting everything: running, walking and rowing.

But considering that last year I only reached ca 800 miles counting everything, I am all set to hit my own personal target of running, walking and rowing 1000 miles.

And I know we have some awesome, mighty long-distance walkers amongst us, who also have embarked on this challenge.

Well done. You’re nearly there. Beautiful scenery I believe up there. I am at 857 miles and 143 miles to go. On my chart it says 874 miles by car lands end to John ogroats., but we’re doing it the hard way. Keep going 😊👍

That’s sounds like a good idea.

I am going to count all my miles up until 31/12 & then get father in law to fill in my certificate in his fancy calligraphy.
