How is everyone doing on their #Walk1000Miles journey! I’m 17.5 miles behind but am catching up now. I’ve had a few funny weeks, with less than usual walks, runs or rows and it showed on my #Walk1000Miles app!
But I’m still confident I can catch up. Summer beckons with outside walks and runs, although the indoor rower might see less of me. It’s all a balance act, as the majority of my miles are from all three: indoor rowing, outside running and outside walking!
So how is everyone else doing! Anyone celebrate 500, 600, or 700 miles yet?
Happy walking!

well done. Summer beckons. 🌞. I’m like you haven’t put the miles in but still doing some every day, would have been further but you can’t foresee what’s going to happen with your body. I am at 430 miles, and on my 1000 miles colouring in I am at greater Manchester , never had time to do a bit of shopping. . Everytime you hit 10 miles you’re in another county. Gives u a wee bIt incentive. Think just now I’m on track. Keep going 🚶♀️
Oh, there's an app for that! 🤣 (I used to live near Silicon Valley - or as we call it Silly Con Valley - so that sentence is all too familiar to me...) I am using a good ol' spreadsheet to track my walking as I want to walk 4000 kilometers this year. None of that miles stuff 😉
Well, I went on vacation - to the beautiful Ionian island of Lefkada - and promptly fell off the wagon. Only during the vacation, though! It was a bit challenging to walk places as it seems to be very much car-centered...
Still! 🥳 I am on track despite having had 1 day with less than 5 km that's my minimum, trying to average 11 km, which I am still achieving at 11.67 km/day. I am about 83 km ahead of where I should be, so I still have a really nice cushion. 😎
