Just a quick post that celebrates a tiny bit of me getting back to walking. After my illness, I have been still struggling with energy a bit, but at least since quite a few days my cough has gone completely, no sniffly nose or sore throat.
So yesterday I signed up to getting flu and covid jabs (I get them free due to my Hashimotos condition but was very late with signing up). But this meant I could also squeeze in a 39 min walk to the pharmacy and back.
Got my blood pressure and heart rate checked and all -according to the nurse - perfect! She even looked at me surprised and asked if I did a lot of exercises. Very happy with that!
Also encountered this cozie today. (Pic)
Happy walking!

I didn’t realise you had been ill but missed your encouraging messages. Glad to hear you are improving. It is only when you are well again that you realise how unwell you were. Enjoy Christmas!
You have had a bit of a hard time . Glad you’re on the road to recovery. Like your photo. Saw a photo like that a on our walk. After Christmas Day we are in Madeira on holiday , so hope for some warmth and relaxation.
This is so encouraging, well done, you are one determined soul! (But be be prepared for the effects of the jab to knock you back a bit and take it easy!)
