Hi all. Gosh, the sun came out today and everywhere in my little house looked grey - with a thick layer of dust! After walking so far (for me) yesterday, I've been in a bit of pain today, but I just HAD to get rid of that dust! But one thing leads to another and by the time I'd cleaned the ground floor - to be honest, only a lounge, kitchen and utility room - I was exhausted. I wore my back support too! So, no walking today - but tomorrow is another day and I'll be out doing my 5 minute challenge! The forecast is for heavy rain, but I'll still be out!
No walk today - cleaned the house instead! Yuk! - Active 10
No walk today - cleaned the house instead! Yuk!
Hehe have to agree housework - yuk. But then I hear it can burn a fanatic amount of calories too, still dosent make me love it though. Enjoy your sparkly dusted home 😀.
Thanks Rfc - not taking any chances of finding dust upstairs, haven't opened the bedroom curtains in two days!!! Lol
Oh kay50, I know how it can be when there's dust around, you don't like it, but if you want the place clean you have to do it. And one bit of cleaning leads to another...and another... and if you're an introvert like me, you feel good only when things around are reasonably clean and organized! Rest well and take care.
Hi Suryakaizen! Haven't heard from you for a while - so good to touch base with you! Stiff as a board today, but I've done one stint of my 5 minute brisk walk challenge. Must admit it wasn't so very brisk today - but MUCH better than cleaning!! Hope you're feeling well and managing to stay active.
Well done on doing the 'yukky' jobs, they are often at the bottom of my to do list, but sometimes needs must and think of the calories you burned up, and although you didn't do your 5 minute challenge you weren't sitting around doing nothing.
Thanks for making me feel better about not getting out! I've been out this morning, but I'm so stiff and sore that I've had to dose up on painkillers - so frustrating! I've changed my goal for today - no hope of doing 3 x 5 minute stints, but I'm going to seriously try to do two!
