Good to hear you can still get out and about I57, albeit it not running at the moment but hopefully youβll get there one day soon! And I love the flower photos you post with your run reports, keep βem coming please!
Youβre making good progress Ian. Foxgloves are among my favourite plants and I have quite a few in the garden. The white ones are in flower at the moment, hoping to see the pink ones in flower soon. The bees love them. Hope Misty is finding some cool places to rest in this hot weather. π
Yes, it was very time consuming!Especially in swarming season π€£
It's an independent supermarket and they actually paid me Β£5 a jar for my honey and sold it at Β£6.50
It used to fly off the shelf as it was labeled on the shelf as local honey from local bee's
I had several hives stolen that I had in an out apiary, and then sol ones I had at home after some problems with locals and my swarms landing in their gardens... I didn't need the hassle
I can imagine it being very popular, shame you were not able to continue.
On the face of it bee keeping seems a fairly harmless and hassle free occupation (apart from getting stung of course ), I certainly hadnβt thought about the hives being stolen!
I hope all these new changes are for the best although it must be a lot to get your head round.
Do you know youβve just made me stop and think that since I have become βa runnerβ I can still get out for a walk - weirdly I used to walk all the time but since Iβve taken running up - I donβt and I miss it. You spotted a beautiful flower and took a photo - something I wouldnβt do on a run but definitely would on a walk. Iβm finding Iβm not enjoying running in the summer - itβs way too hot so Iβm going to do some long walks instead ππ»π
yes I am the same, Iβve done my Parkrun this morning so a few weeks ago that would mean chill and treat time but now Iβm trying to choose healthy choices to eat and Iβm going to head to my allotment tonight for a couple of hours of weeding πππ»
Lovely photo of the fox gloves Ian and congratulations on completing week 2 of C25K, I don't like inclines either, if I am running and the incline is very steep I slow down and walk.
Lovely photo and colour. My steps is supposedly 8000 steps but today 2 walks so over that. Wish Mr D had motivation like you. Too stubborn to go and see anyone about his back , months now.
