really wanted to walk today. Street cleaners brought up to much dust & lots of grass fires. Would have walked indoors but responsibilities interfered

Grass fires! My! From which continent are you connecting? Most of us, I’d say, are from the UK where rain is a much more annoying issue.

Nice (not, though, about the grass fires). I like Canada and have visited Vancouver and Toronto. But have never been in the middle.

Vancouver is a great city to be out & about. Toronto has Canadian National Exposition & Caribana and stuff to do & see. Banff is fantastic & I have never really traveled anywhere but would in a heart beat!

The saying in Alberta “wait long enough & the weather will change”. May long weekend is usually when the last snow, might fall. Last week it was 31C and this weekend it dropped to 2C. Lots of grass fires & even a planned burn in Banff that got out of control. But couple of days of rain are welcome this week. Weather is out talking point.
