Yesterday’s 3km

MissUnderstanding profile image

I wasn’t particularly enthusiastic about getting out but I’m glad that I did. The day before was a super muddy run through fields so this one needed to be dry! There’s a route up a hill and down again that I do a lot. It’s not too long, ends at the village shop and often has wildlife…perfect.

Today I spotted a kestrel and a very cute family of blue tits. Too quick to catch with the camera. Lovely views from the highest point though. I could just feel my legs having done some work in a very pleasant way and then had the downhill section to ease them out again. Quick trip into the shop for some coffee and then home for a bath.

A very pleasant day off running indeed! A bonus was the the Inside Health podcast this week was talking about how a hot bath could effectively be light exercise. Result!!

What what a gorgeous sky!

Lovely to read your post as I’m stuck in as I’ve got covid, no running for me for a while, sadly!

Oh no! Poor you-take it easy and rest up. Hope it’s not too bad a course for you and you’ve got some nice things at home to keep you smiling. ❤️

Thanks, I’ve just read it and it is indeed a really useful post. I’ve few symptoms and don’t feel unwell but I’ll be taking it very slow as covid is very debilitating and so much is still unknown.

Oh gosh... so many of us... do take a peek at the post mentioned.. loads of useful stuff from folks experiences.. Heal soon and take it gently. I have been clear from Christmas Day...but still recovering, slow and steady X

I have had a read and found it really helpful, thanks. I’m still covid positive but will take things very easy for the foreseeable future.

Well done you... unfortunately for a fair few of us, Covid does not give us any chance to do otherwise :) You will get there xxx

oh how lovely. We actually were walking at the same time! Lovely! (Post will follow) Our weather didn’t look quite as nice as that but it was still beautiful with the sun at least trying and at times succeeding to peek through the clouds.
