My walks this week have been mostly 5km every day except today which was 10.90. Most of walk was along rail track and past housing estate and back along the roads which were quiet as out at 6.30 am. Best time to go, and sometimes best of the weather then. Saw my friend the horse as attached and it’s friend Squeak but haven’t got a picture of it yet . This picture was the other day as cloudy this morning but pleasant for a brisk walk. My time was 1 hour44 . Back in time for breakfast. My partner did a 5 km in 28 min 22 but now his calf is bothering him, he’s not one for doing stretches after runs. Grr 😠 Hope have a good walk and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Hello Doris8 we do have lots in common and are both new to A 10.
Your walk sounds perfect as lots of the train tracks are really nice for walking and these views are well worth it as they’re far reaching and stunning.
Horses like people and you can see he’s pleased to see you, he’s a very lean horse as he’s all muscle.
You enjoy the rest of your day now. 😊
A nice long early walk Doris8 , agree that this is the best time I like to run in the early mornings. Great to hear that your Partner is running 5km tell him post run stretching will help his running as well as avoiding injury.
He can find out more over on the C25K forum
Horse looks more tired than you sound! 🤣🤣😃😄👍🏽 Early Morning walks: Great stuff! Countryside looks great, similar to where I walk and run! Keep the pics coming!
