Afternoon 5km walk with Mr D

Today we went a walk to another village , across the suspension bridge . All pavement majority of the way which pleased MrD not dirty. Quite a few couples out walking . Final part of our walk was along the river saw ducks horse dogs but couldn’t close enough to get clear picture. A wee bit dirty underfoot but not too bad. A few stops and starts as Mr D fone kept ringing, so much for retirement. Still got to get rid of things left in shop yet. Did my 12 min walk this morning. Back in time for 3oclocks cuppa.

Well done you.... I managed a walk around Lidl today, and your photgraphs show a uch more pleasing location! x But I did get some thermal long sports socks and some thermal running underleggings!

Ooo I got some thermal socks too! Also managed to get a pair of gloves with the pads so I can use my iPhone…can’t remember the posh name for them 😂🤦🏻‍♀️🙄

Sounds a bit warmer than your last walk! River walks are the best! I miss a good river in my neck of the woods, we just have a very little stream.

But have lived alongside some grand, old rivers: Rhine, Mosel, Clyde. I miss them.
