wakened up early, showered, out door at 6.30am. Lovely day a bit chilly and frosty. Fingers a bit cold. I was keeping to all level surfaces, definitely no hills. Went through the village and through a woodland which has picnic tables, field for a kick about when no muddy. Kept to the stones paths , heard a woody woodpecker , lots of bunnies running in front of me and on the daffodil walk, All the daffodils not out yet and a bit hazy with the photo I took. Will get a better photo when fully out on the 1 mile daffodil walk. Then went past the abbey through the town and back along the river, o fishermen out yet today fishing for salmon. A lot out yesterday. Saw the horses clapped one of them, the others too busy eating. Met Mr D finishing his run , and back for breakfast ., and opened card from son for Mothers Day🥰
will be resting up after walk , ribs and back will take time after stress fracture with the osteoporosis.
have a lovely day

How lovely to hear that your son sent a Mother's Day Card to you Doris8, I hope that 5.76Km walk helped you with your stress factor, those a lovely photos of the daffodils and the horse.
I usually tell you about my regular Sunday morning walk, today it was 7.44Km, that's a little shorter than recent Sunday morning walks, I walked along quiet country roads not too far from where I live, only saw 3 or 4 cars, no other walkers and one runner, stats, distance:-7.44Km, 10,813 steps and burned 375 calories in a time one hour and twenty five minutes, I wish you a very happy Mother's Day.
Thanks AlMorr. Love daffodils 🌼,but not the ones we have in house just now, the small ones are bit smelly. I have the stress factor after the walk thinking this stress fracture not getting better. Had one before in back, think this one worst. I’ll take it easy and enjoy Mothers Day feet up.
