I’ve just got a Apple watch and would love to speak to others who also have these watches, how are you all getting on with them? Do they motivate you, I’m very new to walking and aim to start on 5,000 steps and then build up, I’m 63 years old but not in good health, but I will say as I’ve only been doing this for less than a week I’m actually already feeling the benefits, so I’m over the moon, I need to lose at least two stone, love to hear how others are getting on

Oh so glad you’ve got a Fitbit watch. I am 72 reasonably fit, and quite easily can do 10/12 thousand steps when I put my mind to it. On normal days I do around 5/ 8 thousand. It’s been difficult due to lockdown , but now shops are open again, walking into town ,one mile and browsing around shops ( social distancing) 5/8 thousand is doable. Good luck with your regime.
