This mornings walk by the lake in the forest.

Hi everyone,

This morning I had to drop my car off on the other side of town. So for a change I took the long way home as it’s such a lovely day today and I was taken back by how beautiful the lake looked with the cloudless deep blue sky reflected in it. I love the trees this time of year as they are getting ready for winter so they’re leaves are starting to change colour which’s a hint of how vibrant they are late autumn. I love this time of year even if the evenings are drawing in the air is fresher as the humidity has gone and I really like that. So I’m very pleased that I took the long way home…

I walked for 70 mins 52 briskly and now I’m sitting in the shade drinking latte so happy days.

Enjoy this lovely weather folks. 🌞

That looks beautiful and lovely blue sky especially the reflection in the lake. Was out this morning but got a insect bite on leg sore all day and still sore yet. Hopefully by tomorrow better. 😊

Thank you Doris it was very opportune timing and I liked that. I'm so sorry that you've been bitten by an insect it sounds painful so poor you especially after the stinging nettles.

Apparently wasps often run out of food in the autumn and eat fermenting fruit get drunk and are aggressive, not a pleasant thought which's why I much prefer bees. 🐝

I hope that your leg is better soon Doris and you enjoy your evening now. 😊
