I hope you’re all having great running adventures. I’ve been off the path for a couple of weeks because I’ve had to focus on other things. I’ve kept going with daily HITT as consolation and not wanting to lose fitness (though losing weight would have been nice 🙄😂)! Still...all in all, I’m feeling good.
I had my first long journey on Public Transport since lockdown on Tuesday and I was struck by how claustrophobic it is to wear a mask for such long periods of time....And how odd it feels not to be able to see people smile 😯. It takes some getting used to. I’d have settle for a couple of frowns! Though eyebrows are ok for that, I hear! 😂
So...this mornings daily HITT was aborted. Out to run 🏃🏽♀️ ....green space 🌳 and no mask!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽 20 mins and an absolutely brilliant recovery run in the fresh air!! Dial for the day set to ‘great’! 🤩🤩
I hope to get back to regular runs soon, but for now I’m just going to keep moving in any way that I can.
Happy running Runners! ❤️

Hope your on the road to recovery and alls going well now ! Well done on the HITT work out. There’s some real gruelling workouts out there 😓
Wearing a mask on public transport was kinda weird at the start I found and wondered how I would fair breathing !! Then someone said to me “for all you k know, people are probably just sticking their tongue out at you haha “
The HITT is not one of those long hard ones, I can assure you! 🤣! It’s just something that takes 15 minutes and I do as part of my daily morning routine now.
I’m too slow to fit in anything longer. That sort of wakes me up and gets me feeling ready for the rest of the day!! 😂
It was hard at first though, so progress has been made . ❤️
Ah that’s great stuff !! ❤️👍👍. I dare say that 15 mins is probably better than trying a long gruelling session. I’ve done it myself with resistance work and I have felt totally mullered all day 😬 - so now I just go to I know I have worked hard and happy with what I have done instead of over training. 😀
