I have another cold. I am beginning to think this is is one of the side effects of living with someone who is on immunosuppressants. They catch things easily and bring them home for weeks as they get over it. One heavy training session too much and bang I get it.
My main coancern is always MrRfc gets over his cold which he has now thankfully, but because of my cold starting on Tuesday after an 1400 mtr swim on Monday I have been walking 2km every day just to keep mobile and to keep up with my RED February. (Move every day)
I hope the weather doesn’t keep you all huddled inside this weekend. There are some fierce gales forecast. Take care if you are out and about.
Have happy weekend. Rfc. X

Oh Rfc, you must be so fed up with feeling under the weather! And to still be doing your Red February is so commendable - very well done! Let's hope MrRfc stays well and doesn't pass on any more nasties. I'm in Brackley with my son this weekend and today the weather is good, so we walked into the town square for a posh coffee and it was lovely! x
If you wrap up warm enough and walk fast enough and long enough to get really warm (so that you are almost perspiring) you can shift all the phlegm and the cold with it.
I lived with a teacher (and taught) - very immuno-therapeutic.
I must admit this time going out for the little walks made me feel better, it did seem to suit me and stopped my arthritis from kicking in as well. I would definitely do it again if I got another cold. Rfc x
