Well Saturday arrived and after a bit of decorating got ready to walk into town to go to Tesco and pick up my specs from the opticians left home about 09:05 and set of in the direction of the Bumpstead road I knew there were a few steep bits but wasn't prepared for how many there were anyway kept close to the side of the road facing the on coming traffic and most drivers kept away from me but a few got a bit close anyhow kept on going and really started to enjoy myself kept a reasonable pace and got into town and Tesco's in around 59 minutes forget to pause the Garmin so got 10 minutes logged in the shop now off to the Opticians picked up glasses and started Garmin back towards the village back down the road again facing the oncoming traffic and again a few drivers were quite polite by giving me room but a couple got a bit close and forced me on to the verge anyway back through the village and I am home took me about 59 minutes. Hopefully will be doing a similar distance/time next Saturday and i can definitely feel the benefit already.
Happy walking Michael

That is a great walk, it really will be helping to keep you fit. I hate when Iโve gorgotten to turn my garmin off, last week I got on the bus. Hehe best walking km pace Iโve ever had before I realised.๐.
