Was it critters? Do birds count?

I'm one of those people who says I'm going to...then doesn't. I didn't even realise there were walking gremlins either, so I did my run, had my cup of tea, started thinking how nice a swim would be. But... To walk down? To drive the other side of the village? If I walk I might not want to walk back, if I drive I might not be able to park. Oh for goodness sake!!!Don my bikini, with a bit of luck the beach will be empty. Shorts and a teeshirt, after slathering high factor cream on shoulders and face... Oh my poor face.

Music on. Hat on.

Off I go, 17 minutes later I'm on the beach, spreading my towel out in a sandy bit, take a few photos, have a swim, lay still while drying then walk home again.

Enjoy your walks but beware the sun is scorching. Oh and yes the beach was pretty much empty 😊 apart from a few seagulls and they don't have eyebrows to raise at the old girl in a bikini 😲

I swam and wanted to go again before I walked home but didn't fancy walking home in wet bikini under my shorts 😂

empty beach in this weather sounds heavenly! Well done for beating your gremlins to get out there via a walk! (I know that gremlin that keeps you pondering about a decision, until it’s too late! But you obviously didn’t! )

Birds definitely count.. You are so fit I’m sure you look fantastic in a bikini.. not old at all l, and better than a lot of youngsters. Glad you remembered the sunscreen though.

I've been outside so much lately I can't believe how brown I'm getting, my face looks ridiculous, as to the bikini there's hardly anyone around where I go to the beach
