Small goals are achievable.

I started walking at the beginning of August because I needed a reason to get out of bed. In a moment of weakness, I rashly promised to walk my brothers two lovable dogs while he is away for 16 days in Sept and being a terribly unfit, obese, devourer of junk food and unmotivated… well, the dogs weren’t about to get a decent exercise.

Started at 97.3kg and reached my first tiny goal of 95kg, three days ago. Actually thought it was a mistake and that my scales were “confused”. Ankles, feet and hips are screaming but they’ll get used to it.

Haven’t snacked between meals, not going back for seconds, only one serve of dessert and lots of water. Next target is 90. It now seems achievable.

Well done! Now you know you can do it. All these small goals will add up, and keep walking, your joints will adjust to it 😊

Well done that is a great achievement. As you progress you joints will ease up and feel better, those dogs are going to love going out with you and I bet by them you'll be able to tire them out.

What a fabulous start - you have really got past the hardest part , getting up and out the door, well done and keep going!! We look forward to hearing about your journey 👏👏👏

Well done to you and it's better to do little by little as that is the best way to achieve results. You will not only feel better in body but in mind also. Well done :)

Well done, you'll soon feel better especially when you see the inches coming off, My biggest boost was when I saw the difference in my legs and feet

Onwards and downwards

Hooray! Those dogs are going to love you. They are the best for getting you out the door, even if you don't want to.
