Good morning, sun is shining so I might try and get out in the garden.

I feel abit brighter this morning. Tulip (my dog) is much better after her abscess on her back leg bursted, she is taking her antibiotics and painkillers. She is wagging her tail a lot, good sign she is on the mend. Might try and get out in the garden, if my back allows.going to try and put what's happening with my ESA at the back of my mind, just for today.

That sounds like a really good positive idea, the garden can be one of the nicest places in the world sometimes I find, as it is both out in the world but also still alone without the need to put on any kind of effort. Enjoy your day and I hope it remains sunny for you. I'm off to the cinema which will involve an hours drive in the sun which I love, then the film, a meal with a friend and then a jazz club this evening. What a good day! Take care, x

It was nice and the sun was abit of heat treatment for my back. Put my new roses in a bucket with water and some flower power. I thought to put what is happening with ESA reconsideration to the back of my mind for at least one day. :-) :-)

I have a bad back too so I know what it feels like; for me its a constant battle to keep it "reasonable". Yes those damn ESA people; its a constant worry; something we shouldn't have to think about! We have to try and seperate it all out and not feel guilty about those "slightly better" moments. It's hard.

Sometimes I wish money didn't exist; there's those with loads and those with none; and then those with some who I guess is me; even as a child I never understood why we couldn't just share it all out and all have similar amounts. Guess we are lucky though in this country really in many ways. The world still seems a bit crazy to me though.

Oh dear, was supposed to be keeping it light! Just ruminating, thinking, in many ways I'm lucky I know. :) X

Actually reminds me of Bob Marley lyrics

"Sun is shining, the weather is sweet, yeah

Make you wanna move your dancing feet now

To the rescue, here I am

Want you to know, yall, can you understand?

When the mornin gather the rainbow, yeah, yeah

Want you to know, Im a rainbow too now

To the rescue, here I am

Want you to know, yall, can you, can you, can you understand?

Sun is shining, the weather is sweet now

Make you wanna move your dancing feet, yeah

But to the rescue, here I am

Want you to know just if you can, here I stand, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no

Can you understand me now, baby?

Do you believe me?"

He was always one of my heroes :) X

You know he put the sole songwriting credit for No Woman No Cry in the name of a friend who ran a soup kitchen, so the kitchen would get the royalties.

Yes whilst many "great" artists sang just of sexual encounters and fast cars he sang about ending violence and poverty and racism and also backed it up like you say with activism and monetary contributions A real "legend" in so many ways.

"Don't worry about a thing,

'Cause every little thing gonna be all right.

Singin': "Don't worry about a thing,

'Cause every little thing gonna be all right! "

Rise up this mornin',

Smile with the risin' sun,

Three little birds

Each by my doorstep

Singin' sweet songs

Of melodies pure and true,

Sayin', ("This is my message to you-ou-ou: ")

Singin': "Don't worry 'bout a thing,

'Cause every little thing gonna be all right."

Singin': "Don't worry (don't worry) 'bout a thing,

'Cause every little thing gonna be all right! "

Rise up this mornin',

Smiled with the risin' sun,

Three little birds

Each by my doorstep

Singin' sweet songs

Of melodies pure and true,

Sayin', "This is my message to you-ou-ou: "

Singin': "Don't worry about a thing, worry about a thing, oh!

Every little thing gonna be all right. Don't worry! "

Singin': "Don't worry about a thing" - I won't worry!

"'Cause every little thing gonna be all right."

Singin': "Don't worry about a thing,

'Cause every little thing gonna be all right" - I won't worry!

Singin': "Don't worry about a thing,

'Cause every little thing gonna be all right."

Singin': "Don't worry about a thing, oh no!

'Cause every little thing gonna be all right!

X Nite, I'm away to my bed now Hannah X

He was brilliant, he died too young. Tulip , my dog came out with me, kept the other two dogs in the house. Porsche my 7mth old black and white kitten came out as well. When the sun comes out, feel abit better. Its double scoliosis I suffer with. :-) :-)

Hiya Mm,

Glad to hear your positivity...it must be catching for those of us with bad backs...mind I've had a hefty dose of Oromorph but it's enabled me to do a bit of skipping which is good for my COPD as well as my mood.

Is your scoliosis congenital or the result of injury? I had to look it up cos I didn't know what it was. I've never heard of any1 with it before. We learn something new on here everyday. :)

My back pain is lumbar and largely the result of a horse riding accident when I was in my late teens but it's only really flared up again since we got burgled and I was assaulted and knocked unconscious by strangulation then thrown across the room.

Needless to say I was turned down for compensation by the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board! The CID, when they learned that I had mental health problems asked me if I was sure I hadn't dreamt it all - unbelievable!

Good job you did with your dogs abscess...I wouldn't have had a clue...well done you!

My pic is of my Jack (Captain Jack Sparrow) when he was a wee pup almost 2 yrs ago.

Hope you've enjoyed your day in the garden...hopefully more good weather to come to cheer us all up a bit. :)

Hi Lorraine, I was diagnosed with scoliosis 20+ yrs ago. They reckons I developed it as I was growing up as I used to be a pro cyclist. I could do 10 miles in 28 mins. The doctor who diagnosed it suddenly died in a car accident so I was left with no doc. So from then on it was just me against the world..then over the last couple of yrs the pain has become so bad , it would make me cry. Then a physio I went to see told me that the bottom curve was very noticeable and that I had a second curve at the top of my back. I suffer from chronic pain, I had a xray yesterday to see what angle my curves are.

Im a big animal lover, they have kept me going through all the abusive I suffered from my parents and ex husband, the illnesses I suffer from and also the depression.

As a child I always wanted to be a vet but my parents wouldn't let me.

Tulip enjoyed her time in the garden so did Porsche, my kitten. I even managed to put some washing out. I love the sun as its heat treatment on my back, when the sun is out I try to go out in the garden as it cheers you up. The beautiful flowers coming into bloom and the birds singing, its lovely. The weather is suppose to be nice until middle of next week. :-) :-)
