Hi, i went for an hysterescopy a week ago as polyps were suspected due to a recent ultrasound they also said my womb lining was thick. Im obviously thinking the absolute worst about everything but just wondering how long the bleeding is meant to last? Its been a week now and im due on my period in two days and im concerned that im already bleeding quite a bit. The leaflet said up to a week but it also said i would be given local anaesthetic and the pain involved would be like mild period pain (both lies) so id rather find out if anyone else has been in the same position as me

Hello I had a biopsy done on the 1st Nov and the coil fitted for my womb lining and I started bleeding 6 days after and haven't stopped yet 😅 I'm 31 btw xx
Hi, i was meant to have a coil too but my limit was absolutley reached without no pain relief, its driving me around the bend. Wow thats a long time could be the coil causing that though. Were you long waiting for biopsy results? The wait is horrendous doing all i can to take my mind of things tho x
