I need advice

I have had thrush about 7/8 times in the space of a year and been using over the counter treatments, doctor gave me a wash and an anti fungal tablet to take for 14 days and said it would not return... 2 months later i have it again.. i dont know what to do, i feel like its ruining my life

Please go back to your doctor, they can give you a much longer treatment and/or another antifungal to try, good luck x

Hi, have you asked your nurse or gp about something called lichen sclerosis you can google it but after years of same struggle I was diagnosed with it Good luck 😊

I assume that you are doing all the basics, cotton knickers, showering after sex etc? Try and work out what your triggers are. I find sex can be if it's been a while (hubby works away 🙄) and some foods.I found a crazy sounding solution years ago, tea tree oil. As soon as I feel it starting I put a couple of drops in the gusset of my knickers and it stops it developing. Obviously don't use too much and check you're not allergic etc. Also only a couple of drops as it can be a bit stingy and feel uncomfortable at first.

I realise it sounds odd and alternatives are not for everyone but it works for me and for my friends

Hiya! Yeah cotton pants, going to loo and washing after sex, unscented female products, soap free and fragrance free shower gel, ive ate the same since i was young, i will give tea tree oil a go! Thanks so much x
