I am only 36 years old and white and I have been going through fibroids for 3 years, (this December) with relentless appointments with the hospital gynaecologist at the maternity ward in Aberdeen.
Because of covid I can't see a radiologist about my Embolization so I have to continue with my injection for further 6 months until I get the Embolization.
I would like to know how other people are coping with it.
It is so frustrating.

Its been 3 years since I had the Fibroid Embolization done. Its worth getting if you are in pain, have several fibroids and a large uterus. I had all of that . Now, I have no pain, reduced uterus and fibroids shrunk. It also helped me transition to menopause. I am 55 years old now. I still have the fibroids but they dont bother me.
I am in pain and have clusters of fibroids all over my abdomen.
Thanks for saying you had no pain that gives me great confidence with Embolization. Hopefully after I get it done and after I recover a bit I'll be able to discuss with my doctor about weaving me off of my medication. xx
