51 years old female no periods for seven years start a period for a week go to urgent care told have a UTI no symptoms but that's what they said gave me antibiotic then changed it. Went to my Dr. Who didn't perform pap but did take a look to see where I was bleeding. Said sending me to OBGYN went she said vaginal ultra sound needed but didn't have paper work from my Dr. Now waiting another three weeks for vaginal ultra sound

IS THIS STANDARD WAITING??

P.S...NEVER HAD THE UTI IN THE 1ST PLACE!

Sadly the waiting lists for many treatments can be long, I would consider chasing things up, contact your doctor again, remind them your still waiting, ask them for an estimated waiting period, you shouldn't have to chase it up like this but you shouldn't have to be left wondering or worrying either, get onto them, hope your soon feeling better and have your questions answered, very best of luck to you :-) x

Thank you. Have eight days left for vaginal ultra sound to see what's going on..My Dr. acted like it was to be concerned over.

OBGYN... doesn't even exam me she asked me questions.

She said she didn't have my Dr. notes.

Okay but you could still take a look.
