Hi, I had a c section 2 and a half years ago due to my daughter being breech. Since then I have bled every day. I have had numerous bloods done which show no problems, liver function is fine, and hormones are all normal and so is my iron count. I've been tested(via blood tests) for various cancers and tumours and they were all clear. I have tried different contraception but it hasn't stopped the bleeding, I've also tried tranemaxic acid which only stopped the bleeding for a couple of days. My old doctors couldnt help me and I am still undiagnosed. Not only is my self confidence getting lower but I can't be physical with my partner which is effecting me also. I'd like to know what the best pathway is to take in order to diagnose my problem. I am at a new doctors now but they are still waiting for my files to be sent over so I can't be seen until then. Any advice on my situation would be greatly appreciated. Prior to my c section I had a regular cycle with no problems with bleeding. Has anyone else had anything similar or know what I should do next?

Constant bleeding for almost 3 years after c section
Hi Lisah92
Thanks for your post. 3 years is a long time to still have PV Bleeding after C-Section. The new Doctor still has to send you to the specialist Gynaecology team for investigations, it is not normal what you are going through. The fact that it is also affecting you and your relationship. You need to insist and tell the new Gp exactly how you feel and how this is affecting you and your relationship. The fact that your iron level is within normal limits and all the bloods as well does not take away the fact that this has to still be investigated. Hope your new Doctor does a referral soon. All the best and best wishes.
Thank you for your reply I'm hoping that the new doctor will refer me asap. It really is getting me down now, every other doctor I have had has fobbed me off. I'm hoping the new one is going to do everything possible to help me.
Thanks again for your reply
Hi Lisah92
How are you? I came across your post as I was looking for answers to the same problem. Did you get any help with your new docter and are you now fine? I have continuous bleeding but I manage to control it with a contraceptive pill.
