Went for my usual walk today especially on a Sunday. I think I'm having a fat day today let's just feel like my face looks podgy. I've realised that if I'm going to relapse off a diet then it's usually on a weekend.I'm going to try it weekly meal planner does anyone have any ideas?

Meals that aren't too expensive but nutritious

Anything with eggs . I dry fry my veggie scraps like a bit of courgette , onion , pepper , aubergine and some of those softer tomatoes and highly spice with paprika , a little tomato purée from a tube , cumin , corriander , garlic etc . Maybe with a mixed salad / any bits .

1 can of tuna , or half tub of cottage cheese again flavoured with a jacket potato . If I have time I air fry the potato about 25 mins . Mixed veggie curry with anything from left over chicken which I boil the carcass for stock and add mixed veg - in fact I buy a frozen bag for about £1 and throw into the stock . Hungry and add brown pasta , rice or chopped potatoes . Good for freezing . I do eat carbs not every day and always brown as thrown in with a sauce - I never buy jars of it as anything tomato based is a 40p can . Look for yellow stickered fish as the supermarkets need to get rid and eat that evening. Canned lentils , beans etc are a filling pad out but again chuck in all the spices and my stand by is balsamic vinegar which really enhances canned beans with a sprinkling of oregano and smoked paprika powder .

I recommend finding some healthy recipes you want to do.

I personally use Jamie Oliver Super Food and I also follow Emily English and Rhiannon Lambert on instagram and follow some of their recipes. They both have cook books coming out this spring which I’m excited about. They use Whole Foods full of fibre and protein. Rhiannon Lambert has a podcast (the wellness scoop) which is on Spotify and really really interesting. I was listening to it this morning.

I then choose about 3 recipes and buy the ingredients for those recipes. You will very likely end up with leftovers for another day which is good for stopping as much food waste and also makes things cheaper.
