I am just sharing a photo of my lunch today - which was a Vegetable Bone Broth Soup with wholemeal bread and peanut butter. I have worked the calories out at a total of 535 calories. It was really tasty!
The sun is shining and I'm going to have a long walk this afternoon, so I'm looking forward to that. I've been doing lots of housework this morning, so had a busy morning.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Your lunch sounds delicious! We are in synch, my friend, broth for lunch is a good choice!
My walk was really good thanks, and I hope you're enjoying Sunday too.

I went to Nando's for lunch. I had the chicken with the skin removed same portion of the beans with garlic sauce on 4 chips and spoon full of coleslaw water to drink. Very nice.
We went to Nando's too, I had plain chicken with mixed leaf salad and sweet potato wedges. There were 5 wedges but I only ate 3. They came with some gunk but I didn't eat that.
Yesterday we went to Red's True BBQ. I had salad and Burnt Ends which was a big naughty as the meat was marinated in something not paleo but I can't not eat out at weekends and as long as I am losing weight I don't mind.
Oooh, you've changed your profile - but I'll have to get a magnifying glass to see what it says!!!
Soups and broths are really good - I have to say.
Hope you've had a tasty meal this evening and that you're enjoying the weekend.

That looks yummy I had a falafel wrap for lunch with tesco sweet potato falafels, lots of fresh salad, and homemade hummus with turmeric and paprika mixed in ("moroccan style"). Also made one in advance for tomorrow's packed lunch Enjoy your sunny walk ššš
Thanks! Your lunch sounds really really tasty!!! I've not heard of Sweet potato Falafels before, they sound really good. Mixing turmeric and paprika into your homemade hummus sounds excellent. I sprinkled some paprika and black pepper on my Broth - gave it an extra kick and flavour.
Yes, the sunny walk was really good - I really enjoyed it.
Wishing you a great week, and hope your new job is going well.
They are good, they're from the frozen veggie section. I keep the wraps frozen too, so it's a good backup meal option ready to defrost/heat up when stocks of other things are running low. Like a healthy ready meal
Great minds think alike! I've just cooked spicy lentil and green bean soup, using the leftover juices from the chicken and vegetables I've cooked for Sunday lunch today. It will be lunch for the next few days, along with wholemeal pitta
Oooh, I love the sound of your Spicy Lentil and Green Bean Soup - with the leftover juices from the chicken and veggies - such a great nutritious feast! You can really enjoy those lunches in the days ahead, and you've already done the hard work of preparing it.
Yes, my walk was really good thanks, and I hope you're enjoying your evening.
I love soup and a 'skinny' toastie, I couldn't afford that many calories for lunch as I have to stick to around 1400 per day, but I do sometimes just have the peanut butter on toast. For my main meal today I cooked a roast beef dinner, 535 calories, dry cooked the beef in the slow cooker, roasted veg in a little oil, peas, brussels, carrots, frozen Yorkshire pudding and gravy.
Yes, I also love eating peanut butter on toast, it is very satisfying! Your main meal today sounds really delicious - a more traditional sounding Sunday lunch than mine was. I hope you enjoyed it.
