Welcome back tigerlilygarden :)

If you look in Topics, you'll find dozens of healthy recipes and Springers Specials has a new theme every month (this month is sausages), where members post recipes with pictures. You can get lots of menu ideas from our Daily Diary, exercise motivation from our Fit is Fun Club and weight loss tips from our weekly Weigh-In.

As a reminder, all of the information you need about the forum can be found as Pinned Posts healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... and we hope you'll be joining all the Events, Challenges and Clubs that we run.

We've found active participation to be key to successful weight loss and, of course, it's a good way to get to know people, find inspiration and share support and encouragement.

Wishing you all the best :)

I had my gallbladder out a few years ago and I've been eating normally ever since. Well, normally for me. If you eat sensibly and follow the 80/20 rule, I think you'll be OK. Just take one day at a time and you'll soon learn if there's something your body doesn't like you to eat. I'd also recommend making sure you're drinking enough water.

Don't panic, you'll be OK!

So what is 80/20 rule please. I am already finding there are foods my stomach does not like.

80/20 rule means eating healthy, nutritious foods 80% of the time and treat foods 20% of the time.

Thankyou have tried found so many foods have hidden fats. Its the days when not feeling like cooking from scratch and have difficulty with what to snack on. Found that my body don't like tomatoes or cheese or acidy foods so feel very limited. Have changed my milk etc. and taking Vit B complex also Vit D (Vit D by GP) I'm listening to my body and am getting used to it all and still learning. Used to be able to eat anything so maybe feeling resentful towards what needs to be done as being veggie finding difficult. Will carry on with the good fight.
