No time for exercise & put weight back on.

I've put a few pounds back on over last few weeks. I initially did well on the plan and lost half a stone but have gone completely off track since going back to work. I've been giving into temptation of eating biscuits and chocolate during lunch breaks and haven't been eating as healthy over last 6 weeks. I haven't exercised either as I don't have time to do with working time full time, and coming home to be with my beautiful baby boy. Any tips on what I can do exercise wise so that it can fit in my lifestyle? I need some guidance and motivation. Would appreciate any advice. Thanks.

Well my advice would be avoid the chocolate and biscuits and the weight will fall off. IMO exercise is neither here nor there when it comes to weight loss 😊

I agree with Hidden it matters far more what you put in your mouth. A muffin for example 400 calories in about 30 seconds but it would take me an hour to burn it off. I found when I used to exercise I would then feel entitled to eat rubbish stuff and it would cancel out the gym. Good luck, you can do it. Just eat a bit less!!

Yes I agree too. Sort out the calories, don't worry about exercise for the moment, you sound very busy! Your baby will be toddling in no time then you'll be running round after him the whole time and wondering why you ever wished for more exercise!!

You don't need exercise to lose weight although it helps, you can do it with diet alone. Diet is the most important thing in weight loss.

Agreed! But if you feel the need to exercise (it always makes me feel better) throw in a 20 minute HIIT session 2-3 days a week :)

Hi gibbs17, how are you getting on? I started the 12 weeks yesterday. Just now I had a look who lives in my area and you came up. Do you want to give it another go?

I'm struggling to be honest. I'm not losing any weight and giving into temptation with treats at work. I'd love to get back into it. Well done you for lasting 12 weeks. How you finding it?xxx

I'm only on day 2. I started in late Feb and only lasted 2 weeks. So I've joined this forum and it helped me getting back on track. It's hard to get back into it, but don't give up ok? When you're ready you know what to do...

Hopefully I'll get back on track. I'm desperate to lose at least half a stone, but ideally a stone or more. My husband has even said that I've put weight on. Thanks honey. That's so sweet of you. Good luck to you also with it. You can do it. You've done it before. Keep in touch. xxx

I've joined the April Exercise Challenge, starting on Monday. Any exercise counts, interested gibbs? You can lose half a stone in 6 weeks, just in time for the Welsh summer ha ha. Take care.
