It seems we can’t post in fit is fun for the current week, is this a deliberate forum policy. For me it would be good to post through the week, I’m also less likely to read a lot of very long posts when everyone has to wait to post on Monday - better to have short regular posts imho. ( I’m new so please don’t think I ’m criticisizing -just want to understand why its set up like this.

Can’t post on ’fit is fun’
The current Fit is Fun is open for exercise achieved from 29 January to 4th February. The new post opens on Monday for exercise achieved this week until tomorrow 11th February. As stated in the heading it is a weekly post for the previous week. You can post each day if you wish. Most people post a total of steps/ miles walked for the week. I hope this clarifies things.
If you are interested in hosting please let us know.
Yes, I realised that -I just wanted to understand why we can’t post in the current week as we go along rather than everyone writing a long spiel on Monday when the ’moment’ has passed for offering support or asking for advice, and everyone then has lots of posts to read through.
I do sometimes post in week if I think it’s interesting
I tried to post for this week but the thread is locked, hence my question.
This is the current Fit is Fun healthunlocked.com/weight-l...
The date suggests its for exercise achieved last week, I just wanted to post in this week, rather than waiting till Monday (because my exercise was this week). I understand posting next weeks goals on a Monday but for me at least, reading other peoples achievements as they achieve them would seem more useful. Asking for advice on the day I need it would feel more supportive. I guess I personally would find shorter posts and posting through the week more interesting and easier to read, Anyway, I’ll move on from the topic now. Thanks for the replies x
Yes its designed for achievements from the week before and goals for the following week but if you prefer to post on the day for that day its perfectly acceptable. As long as its about exercise then its ok to use it how best works for you xx
